What's New
- The National Science Foundation has awarded a five year grant to the " New Jersey Partnership for Excellence in Middle School Mathematics."
- GAANN fellowships for graduate student support. The Mathematics Department has received a grant from the U.S. Department of Education GAANN Program that will fund 15 one year fellowships during the period 2009-2012.
- Spring 2009 Newsletter
- Nine students sponsored by the Mathematics Department are participating in eight-week Research Experiences for Undergraduates. The program began Monday, June 1.
- EDUARDO SONTAG and HÉCTOR SUSSMANN are named Fellows of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, as the leading U.S. professional organization of applied mathematicians inaugurates a Society of Fellows.
